"For I did not SPEAK of my own accord, but the Father who sent ME COMMANDED ME what to SAY and how to SAY IT. I know that HIS command leads to eternal life. So whatever I SAY is just what the FATHER has told ME to SAY."-John 12:49-50
"Don't you believe that I am IN the FATHER, and that the FATHER is IN ME? The WORDS I SAY to you are not just my own. Rhather, it is the FATHER, living in ME, who is doing HIS WORK."-John 14:10
"The POWER of LIFE and DEATH are in the tongue. and those who love it will EAT IT'S FRUIT."-Proverbs 18:22
"But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgement for every CARELESS WORD they have SPOKEN. For by your WORDS you will be acquitted, and by your WORDS you will be condemned."-Matthew 12:36-37
Now let me take a moment to explain the POWER of your words. Because I really believe we see Proverbs 18:22 as a verse that only matters sometimes. We see it as being excused when we are angry, upset, emotional, or being hateful. Yet I want to point your attention to what Jesus (our example) said...He only say what the Father say. Do we understand how important that is? Jesus said that in doing so it leads to eternal life.
To go a step further, Jesus continued in John 14:11-13, Believe Me when I say that I am IN the FATHER and the FATHER is IN ME; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves. Now right here Jesus talking about the "works or miracles" how do you think these things manifested? BY THE WORDS HE SPOKE. Because we are made in HIS image (the spirit) we were designed to SPEAK things that be not as though they were. Okay verse 12.."I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in ME WILL DO WHAT I HAVE BEEN DOING (SPEAKING WHAT THE FATHER SAYS). He will do even greater things than these because I am going to the FATHER(through Faith). And I will do whatever you ask in MY name(because YOU WILL BE SPEAKING WHAT THE FATHER SAYS is why He can make this promise), so that the SON may bring glory to the FATHER."
Whew..Praise Dance. I will to do 3 things...WHATEVER THE FATHER SAY DO, GO, AND SAY.
