[SPORTS] @KOBEBRYANT-Announces He Will Retire After This Season

Dear Basketball
NOV 29 2015
Dear Basketball,

From the moment
I started rolling my dad’s tube socks
And shooting imaginary
Game-winning shots
In the Great Western Forum
I knew one thing was real:

I fell in love with you.

A love so deep I gave you my all —
From my mind & body
To my spirit & soul.

As a six-year-old boy
Deeply in love with you
I never saw the end of the tunnel.
I only saw myself
Running out of one.

And so I ran.
I ran up and down every court
After every loose ball for you.
You asked for my hustle
I gave you my heart
Because it came with so much more.

I played through the sweat and hurt
Not because challenge called me
But because YOU called me.
I did everything for YOU
Because that’s what you do
When someone makes you feel as
Alive as you’ve made me feel.

You gave a six-year-old boy his Laker dream
And I’ll always love you for it.
But I can’t love you obsessively for much longer.
This season is all I have left to give.
My heart can take the pounding
My mind can handle the grind
But my body knows it’s time to say goodbye.

And that’s OK.
I’m ready to let you go.
I want you to know now
So we both can savor every moment we have left together.
The good and the bad.
We have given each other
All that we have.

And we both know, no matter what I do next
I’ll always be that kid
With the rolled up socks
Garbage can in the corner
:05 seconds on the clock
Ball in my hands.
5 … 4 … 3 … 2 … 1

Love you always,

Thanksgiving just turned up. Chris Brown is dropping a mixtape: Before the Party, on Datpiff in less than 30 minutes. A preview of sorts for his fans to hold them over until the official release date of Royalty on 12/18(which you can pre-order right now on itunes). The mixtape includes a list of unreleased tracks from the superstar, such as Counterfeit feat. Rihanna & Wiz Khalifa, Here We Go Again (which he previewed on his IG weeks back), Roses Turn Blue & a host of others. Check back here when it drops.

The mixtape expertly weaves Erykah Badu’s trademark soulful vocals with psychedelic soundscapes, hip-hop-inflected beats, smooth R&B, jazz, art-rock and found sounds into a new genre Erykah describes as TRap & B. Badu and Witnessin dedicated a lot of time to precise mixing work, toying with EQs and other filters so that the sound’s frequency and vibration move in tandem to capture a feeling she refers to as “sympathetic vibration.” Badu also used a tuning fork and Tibetan singing bowls to fine-tune these details, with the goal of creating a sound that brings peace and tranquility to its listener. It is a sound that Badu herself referrers to as a “whole new frequency” for fans.

The wait is over. BrownSubs own: D-Mac is dropping new music from his long awaited mixtape trilogy: Destiny. Pray for Me shows "dade county best lyricist bar for bar" rapper connection to real life events and his perception of them. Take a listen.

Oh wow, so Chris Brown brand new video for his single: Fine By Me. The superstar singer, seem to be inspired by "The Last Dragon" for this extenstion part of the video. He goes from "Liquor" to "Zero" and now to "Fine By Me."It's funny that the singer used this theme, it was stated a few months back that WuTang Clan's member RZA wanted to do a remake of the classic movie starring "Chris Brown & Rihanna". Check it out.

His 7th studio album drops 12/18 Royalty. PRE-ORDER

It's hard for people to accept "it's not meant to be" when they've put so much effort into what they want. Maybe it's a career choice you were passionate about but it was never what God wanted for you. Maybe you fell in love with someone during your education years and you two have experienced so much together but it was never who God wanted for you. You begin to ponder... "Lord, why would you allow this? Why would you allow me to go through years of studying and following a path that wasn't meant to be? Why would you allow me to meet this woman or man in my life where we shared so much together personal and it was never meant to be?" Simple, God gives us free will. Before we make choices He sends us signs and warnings but we missed them because we're caught in the moment and He will step back  respecting whatever decision we make but will not allow it to destroy you.

In order for us to learn not to lean to our own understanding or to be led by feelings God will allow us to go through our choices to teach us a lesson. It's during the process of our mistakes we learn to depend on Jesus. We learn to first seek His face in all things. It's during those moments we draw closer to Him in prayer and the Word. It's sad that we have to make mistakes in order to draw closer to the Lord, instead of being obedient and learning to trust Him during the test He puts us in. Sometimes we are cause because of our own choices. As an example, what Job went through wasn't caused by himself but God was the one who allowed the enemy to tempt Job; there's a difference. David on the other hand decided on his freewill to sleep with another mans wife and impregnate her; God was not in that but He knew what David was going to do and already established a plan to turn it around for his good.

If you are saved the Holy Spirit dwells inside of you. Stop doing everything on your strength and might. Let the Holy Spirit HELP you. Delight yourself in Him. Trust in Him. Give it all to Jesus, He will never lead you wrong; it will turnaround for your good. When you're led by God He'll not only direct you, He'll guide you. Simply say, "Lord, direct my steps. Not my will but Your will."-instagodministries

CHECK OUT THE CONVERSATION THAT ME AND SOME OTHERS HAD CONCERNING HIP HOP.  The single is available for purchase right now on Itunes. Marry Me!

Yes David Banner. 👏🏾 so many important nuggets in this interview. The fact that he said 35&up are truly financing the hip hop movement now. Which I honestly believe it’s because of the loyalty to the culture no matter how far “off topic” it has gone. We are all waiting to someday see it come full circle. I feel the same about RnB
And what he spoke about black women..kudos-CM

Agreed… I wanna hear music that relates to my experience right now but there’s barely anyone making it…
But I love the culture so much I still listen and buy…
But most of the music isn’t relevant to me… And you would think since the artist have grown up they would make it but they are catering to the youth…
Jadakiss said some real important pieces as well about the culture…
We used to study the culture…
They just don’t do that anymore…
I wasn’t born in the 70s or the 60s but I know the music…-TSCOTT19

Because hip hop is a “career” now. It’s a job, just a financial Come up. Understand what I mean there. It’s not like they wake up and go to bed with a “lane” that is the foundation of themselves that is authentic to the culture. Just as JadaKiss stated they don’t study the greats. It’s great to put your special gifting cause it’s what makes it u, but to do “what sells” vs what’s in your heart (a lot of times) is what makes the music/culture lose its authenticity. It’s another one of Those things I thing u should be born to do. Because whatever amount of influence u are given u indeed do have a responsibility to your audience. As it pertains to what u are serving. The artist we grew up with went the “do what sells route” they say to survive the game, the problem is the entire body of what becomes what “sells” vs staying true somewhere on there lol. Real talk name a young emcee who u could take on a nyc street corner, and no pre written rhymes battle someone and come out victorious?-CM

The problem I have with most of “this” generation of Hip Hop is it mainly focuses on material things. Hip Hop use to be about culture, telling stories, social issues.  But this generation got trapped in the money of it all.  That’s all they focus on, No Substance. GREAT beats…..but no substance. Even in this generation R&B they focus more on material/physical things.  Like her ass/tits can only get to big…..then what? Our generation R&B use to make you want to……the songs were erotic and as soon as you heard them you instantly was in the mood.  Yes, you are right CM. I’m waiting as well for it to return to it’s original state for atleast a better version of it. -TESA29

YESS!!! This is what I been waiting on!!! Chris Brown just dropped a new song: Before You Go (Wake Me Up). The superstar crooner has been promising that his new album "Royalty" will be filled with substance, and just bringing RnB back. And he delivered on this one, although I'm not sure that this one even makes the cut. So enjoy. Royalty is due 11/27. Check out the new track below.

Wake me up before you go, ooh I need a little more
Just a little more, a little more of your love
Wake me up before you go, ooh I need a little more
Just a little more, a little more of your love

[Verse 1]
Oh I need a jumpstart, use my cable to plug into ya
Gimme a headstart, gonna have me like hallelujah
Even though I'm a man girl, you making me feel like a baby
I just wanna lay in your arms, take advantage of the moment
Cause the way you put it down is the definition of a real lady

So before I go to work, can I ask you for a favour?

Wake me up before you go, ooh I need a little more
Just a little more, a little more of your love
Wake me up before you go, ooh I need a little more
Just a little more, a little more of your love
Cause your love, your love, your love
Wake me up with some more of your love
Cause your love, your love, your love
Wake me up with some more of your love

[Verse 2]
Oh I need a back talk, oh I need some sex talk
Oh baby girl you inspire me, give me the reason to keep going
Oh sweet as a melody, girl you're the lyrics to my song
When you put that lip lock on me I don't think I can control it
I hold on with all my might while you look at me in my eyes
Like a better me you put back my energy and making me stronger, bring out the best of me

So before I go to work, can I ask you a favour?

Wake me up before you go, ooh I need a little more
Just a little more, a little more of your love
Wake me up before you go, ooh I need a little more
Just a little more, a little more of your love
Cause your love, your love, your love
Wake me up with some more of your love
Cause your love, your love, your love
Wake me up with some more of your love

Chris Brown hopped on social media to reveal his latest single: Sex You Back To Sleep.

He been promising more music with substance(not sure when that's coming), but with lead singles such as Liquor, & Zero(which I believe should have been a UK single), the superstar has yet to deliver for me. Don't get it twisted, I love Chris music, but that legendary status is not created on this level. I know he has some great music in him, I just wish he stop giving it to other artist records..i.e, Rick Ross latest single "Sorry" or Lyrica Anderson's joint "Faded to Sade."

I'm just ready for his "Thriller" type album, and right now Royalty is not shaping up to be that for me. Chris has some gems sitting in the vault..I hope he will put those on the album. Take a listen below and tell me what you think.
