Chance the Rapper came out on top in more than one way at this years Grammy Award Ceremony. The Chicago native, who is the first independent artist to win a grammy for streaming only. His album: Coloring Book, is not even for sale. He placed it on Soundcloud and the response was tremendous. So much so, that the Recording Academy decided to allow artists who were not signed to a label or had streaming only albums to be eligible.

When accepting his award, Chance remembered to give the ONE who made it all possible: God. We know that God can make a way out of no way, and this is one of those moments. When they change the rules, to make room for you. That indeed is a God thing. Chance made sure that we all know who he gave the credit to .

The praise didn't stop there. Chance brought out Tamala Mann and Kirk Franklin to perform his rendition of "How Great Is Our God."

#goodmorningpost Purpose is the key to what God considers a successful life! What does this mean? That as the CREATOR, He knows why He created you, and call you forth for this time on the earth! It's not for nothing, AND it's not for the created thing to decide to BE what it was never created to be! Remember we are not to conform to the world! We are to be TRANSFORMED (how) by the renewing of our mind (having the mind of Christ). See everything you need God has given you for the purpose He created you for! Now we can pervert anything by going our own way. We convince ourselves that we (the person God created) know better for our lives than the ONE who Created us! It's not true. No created thing know more of what it's great at or able to do than the One Who Created it. Most of us become stubborn and are moved by the worlds view of life. And make decisions based off our emotions VS what God has spoken concerning us. You have everything you need TO BE WHO GOD CREATED YOU TO BE! #dontquit #dontsettle #dontgiveup #destiny #celebrityministry #love #forgiveness #purpose #obeyanyway #obey @briancourtneywilson

The Atlanta Falcons entered superbowl 51 with their sights on the Lombardi trophy, for the first time in franchise history. Entering with the NFL's #1 offense, and with Matt Ryan being announced as the Offensive player of the year and MVP of the league.

Everything was clicking for NFC division champs through the 3 quarters (28-3), but then it's as if someone woke up Tom Brady and the Patriots, and before this fan could truly understand what was happening, it was first and goal in the NFL's first over time in superbowl history and the Patriots only needed a touchdown to seal the victory. Well that's exactly what happened. James White bullied his way over the goal line, and Brady was a 5 time champion.

The Falcons defense looked to have been greatly fatigued, and couldn't stop anyone in the 4th quarter. But they really were their own worst enemy. After a 39-yard run by Devonte Freeman, capped with one of the greatest catches on the sideline by Julio Jones, the Falcons began to pick up penalties that was backing them up. And worst of all, Matt Ryan was sacked, and that took them completely out of field goal range, which could have won them the game.

All in all it was a great comeback for one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, and a complete let down of an Atlanta Falcons team who fought so hard to get to the superbowl. There is always next year Falcon fans.

Repost @bishopjakes What do you do when you have favor but you are not favored? In Genesis 37:2 Joseph was favored by his father, but Verse 3 is when the turmoil starts. All of a sudden favor doesn’t seem like favor at all. How do you bridge the gap between your expectation of favor and your reality of favor? Especially when favor doesn’t look like what you expected? The expectation of favor lends itself to the belief of happily ever after, when in reality favor can cause you to be hated and isolated. We all pray for the favor of God, but do we pray for the responsibility of favor? The burden of favor is weighty. If we examine Joseph’s life he is caught between the love of a father and the hate of his brothers.  Once their father passed away, his brothers were terrified that now Joseph would deal harshly with them. Instead, he said to them, am I not in the place God wanted me to be? What you meant for evil God has turned it for my good. Not only for my good, but for many people. Joseph spoke kindly to them and comforted them. Somewhere in his journey, Joseph learned the power of perspective. I don’t know if it was in the pit or in the palace. Joseph learned how to reframe his own narrative through the unfailing favor of God. He didn’t let his condition control his position. He firmly held on to his position of favor. When it looked like he was going down he was really going up. Perspective makes a difference. The story you tell yourself matters! Are there areas in your life, family, work or ministry where you have lost your perspective? Has the burden of favor has caused you to doubt?  Today is the day you change your perspective! Change how you view your situation. Change how your situation speaks to you. Declare God’s favor over your life. Exalt your position over your condition! • Pray and ask God for a new Perspective on your life • Position your favor, write down your goals and post them in a visible area in your home • Promote your favor, speak out loud and rehearse what God has done and is doing in your life. #ForensicFavor

The order itself does not name the countries whose citizens are banned from entering the US. Instead, it refers to a statute which applies to seven Muslim-majority nations. They are Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, Yemen and Iraq, with dual nationals included in the ban.

Certain visa categories, such as those for diplomats, are exempt. There have also been reports of legal US residents, known as green card holders, being turned away from US-bound flights.
Green cards are not mentioned explicitly in the executive order. Oddly, the ban does not apply to the nationalities of those who carried out the 9/11 attacks, such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt.

How does it affect refugees?

The ban completely suspends the United States' Syrian refugee programme, which accepted 12,486 Syrians in 2016.  It also gives preference to accepting Christian refugees from the Middle East over Muslim refugees.  And it reduces the cap on the total number of refugees allowed to enter the US in 2017 from 110,000 to just 50,000.
Is the executive order legally binding?  Executive orders are legally binding and are recorded in the Federal Register,  a daily record of all federal regulations, proposals, and public notices. But they can be subjected to a legal review - and, according to the New York Times, the "Muslim ban" order is illegal.
According to the newspaper, the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 banned all discrimination against immigrants on the basis of national origin.

I was so happy that celebrities, specifically those of this generation are not sitting quietly during this time. Rihanna, who has come to the U.S. from Barbados didn't waste time letting her thoughts be heard. The global superstar also didn't just talk the talk but made sure to let her voice be heard by marching last week in NYC. And she didn't mince words concerning this latest signed executive order stating:

Chris Brown also weighed in on what's been happening in the country as well.

Chris Brown and Rihanna have platforms that keep even main stream media talking. We know every media outlet that reports on them, can't write an article without bringing up '09, and in that one thing, which seem to haunt them forever, actually is what raised the platform. Their voices get the attention of millions. So I'm glad they are not afraid to speak on these important issues.

A white woman who accused Emmett Till of verbally and physically accosting her in Mississippi in 1955 – inflaming tensions around the murder that helped spark the civil-rights movement — has admitted she lied, according to a new book.
Till, who was 14 at the time of his brutal death, had allegedly whistled at Carolyn Bryant, a 21-year-old white woman, while at a country store in Money, Mississipppi. Bryant’s husband and a second white man later tracked Till down and shot and bludgeoned him to death — and were acquitted by an all-white, all-male jury after an hour’s deliberation.
During the trial, Bryant testified that Till had also made physical and verbal advances toward her, a sensational claim that worsened tensions over the case. But according to a 2007 interview newly revealed in the book “The Blood of Emmett Till,” Bryant admits that never happened.

Looking back to 1 year ago.... I released my most anticipated album to date #ANTi ....When I started making this album I never would have imagined how much of a challenge the process would be. I was evolving in the midst of making a body of art that was supposed to reflect who I was in that moment, yet it was the very answer I didn't have! I was numb for a while...numb to all the bullshit and numb to all the good shit. But I was determined not to settle for what everybody thought this should be, or when they thought it should come, or how! I stuck to it until I felt something again! And I remember like it was yesterday, the night it happened! We rented a house in Malibu for a couple months and did MUSIC! Every room, every couch, every corner, there were musicians everywhere, the whole Fenty Corp, the best times! 1 night we vibing, TyTy made a comment, and I got super sensitive, lolol! Then I thought "hold up, did I just feel a way?? Did I just FEEL???!!" It was in that moment that I trusted myself, trusted my ear, trusted my gut, trusted the way that my music made me FEEL!!! I had no idea how it would be received, neither was that something I considered. I just wanted to make a body of work that felt right!  And to the most beautiful, loyal fans that anyone would kill to have on their team, you were right there by my side waiting (im)patiently the entire time! To have the support of so many, with the enthusiasm that we shared for Anti felt like such a reward! I cannot thank you enough for loving her the way you do! And to every single person that was a part of the process from sound to aesthetic, thank you and I cherish you! May the Glory be to God!  I actually hate long captions, I know u can't tell but i don't care! 🎈 #ANTiversary

This album is a certified CLASSIC. Since it's debut it has not missed a week being on billboard 200 chart. It has 4 platinum singles: Work, Love On the Brain, Needed Me, & Sex With Me, and the album itself is almost 3x's platinum. This was an absolute genuine body of work from the global superstar.

Take a look at some behind the scene pics of the process of making Anti.

Finally when the work is complete, and you are fully satisfied that what was created is the most genuine part of yourself, then you sleep, knowing that God got the rest.
